Currency

Obviously if you are working in Korea you will be paid for your time. You will be paid in South Korean Won (see the pictures below) - which is generally regarded as a very strong currency. Most times you will be paid via direct deposit to a local account that you will setup when you are in Korea, but some schools still elect to pay in cash, as for all of the technological advancements, Korea is still a very cash based society.
